    Poland Central School District offers mySchoolBucks, an online payment portal that gives you a quick and easy way to manage and add funds to your student’s meal account.

    What do parents need to know, if they plan to leverage this solution and apply transactions with a credit card?
    Parents choosing to use the credit services will be charged a $1.95 fee for each deposit transaction.  Only amounts up to $120.00 per student can be charged in a single transaction.

    Consider the following calculation:
    $120 deposit transaction  + $1.95 fee =  approximately 53 school days (@ $2.25/day)
    Schools using this calculation would pay approximately $10 in credit card services for 180 days of school in session.

    MySchooBucks allows you to review recent purchases along with seeing the current balance, plus receive low balance alerts. Reviewing purchases is free-- whether you use a credit card or pay on account with a check.

    Many parents have already signed on and are using some of the advanced features of mySchoolBucks. The most popular is the “Set it and forget it” payment option, which automatically adds funds to your student’s meal account. Funds can be added weekly, monthly or when the balance runs low, (simply choose the “Setup a payment schedule” option during the checkout).  Please remember each time a credit card transaction is made, a fee will be charged.
    Enrollment is easy …
    1. Visit www.mySchoolBucks.com and register for a free account. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide; click on the link included in the email to activate your account.

    2. Activate your account and begin adding your students. You will need their school name and student ID (this is their 9-digit student number) or student date of birth.

    3. Add funds to your students’ accounts with your Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, debit card, or electronic check. A convenience fee of $1.95 will be applied for payments to your student account(s). You will have the opportunity to review any fees (and cancel, if you choose) before you are charged. The fee is per transaction, and you can pay for all your children in one transaction. Money deposited into mySchoolBucks.com generally appears in the account within 12-24 hours.

    Security is a priority at mySchoolBucks, and the system is secure; providing the highest level of protection for all of your information. All connections to mySchoolBucks are encrypted with 256-bit encryption.
