Mrs. Brinck

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Brinck

This is a photo of Mr. Brinck, Bandit, Eileen, Penelope, and I on the day Eileen graduated from college.

I grew up in Mohawk, New York, and Mr. Brinck was in my Kindergarten class!  In 1990, I graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and had a concentration in English.  The first place I taught was at Mohawk Central School.  While there, I taught Kindergarten and third grade.  Next, I was a lead classroom teacher for the Herkimer Area Resource Center.  In 1993, I graduated from St. Rose a second time.  This time, I earned a Master of Science in Education degree, and my major was Reading.  I became a teacher at Poland Elementary School in 1994. While at Poland, I have been a third grade teacher, a classroom support teacher, a prekindergarten teacher, and an integrated preschool teacher.  My favorite thing about teaching at Poland is my students!

We live in Stittville, and have two dogs named Bandit and Penelope.  Our daughter, Eileen, graduated from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York in May of 2020. In my spare time, I love to be outdoors hiking, kayaking, gardening, and riding my bike.
