Materials: Generally speaking, students only need a pen/pencil, notebook/folder for class if they plan on manually recording notes. Students should also plan on bringing the school-issued Chromebook to class each day. This applies to ALL of the following: Global History II, College Now Psychology, College Now Sociology, and US History and Government.

Assignments/Tasks: please refer to the classroom whiteboard, and Google Classroom. Regardless of whether it is necessary to move to remote learning or not, Google Classroom will be an essential part of our routine.

College Now: I offer four different College Now courses. Students are eligible for 3 credits per class: US History Before 1865, US History Since 1865, Intro. to Psychology and Intro. to Sociology. All students planning to pursue higher education are encouraged to take some or all of these classes. Please note, however, that these are presented as actual "college" courses. Academic expectations are higher. Greater reading and writing skills are expected to perform at the college level.
