POLAND – Poland Central School District second-graders in teacher Heather Judd’s class recently performed their annual class play.

This year’s play was titled “Nashville Idol” – with the setting starting at a farm in Tennessee and moving to the “Nashville Idol stage in Nashville, Tennessee.

Second-graders performed the play in front of other students and again in front of their families on Tuesday, June 19.

Students in Judd’s class played the following roles:

  • Bradie Jones: Dixie McGraw

  • Conlan Hunt: Duke Ryan

  • Harper Hawkridge: Mary Thunderwood

  • Madison Darrow: Rayna Beacrest

  • Alexander Williams: Mr. Simon

  • Paislee Huckabone: Envelope Girl

  • Grace Shannon: Narrator 1

  • Douglas Drake: Narrator 2

  • Bohdan Nebush: Nash Country

  • Dharma Martin: Ville Country

  • Ryan Malta: Tenn Country

  • Xander Hart: Dad

  • Maria Montana: Mom

The play was directed by Judd along with Sarah Daley and Shelley Kermizian.
