Poland Central School District conducted its annual elementary school mitten drive under the guidance of teaching assistant Tracy Irwin.

The drive accepts donations of mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for children and adults.

Organizers first check with Poland teachers about any Poland students who could use the items, and then the rest are donated to local charities. More than 160 items were donated this year.
