Harvest Fest returns
POLAND – The feel of cool air and warm jackets. The smell of hay bales from for hayrides and paint for pumpkins. The sight of smiling faces and farm animals. The taste of cider and popcorn. The sound of children’s laughter and a tractor engine.
You could sense it in every way – Harvest Fest was back.
Poland Central School District held the Harvest Fest for prekindergarten through fifth grade on Friday, Oct. 29, for the first time since two years ago.
Students enjoyed painting pumpkins, taking hayrides, petting farm animals, learning about fire safety, eating popcorn, drinking cider and more.
