Students in grades K-5 recognized at third marking period PPP assembly

Elementary students in Poland were recognized April 28 at the third marking period’s Prepared, Productive and Proud assembly.

Special to this ceremony, 13 students were recognized as part of Youth Art Month, which is observed each March to promote the value of art education. The students’ work was selected to be displayed at Bassett Healthcare in Herkimer.

Students also received certificates for perfect attendance, being kind to others, being a safe walker and being a safe bus rider.

Julie Dutcher’s kindergarten class earned the Golden Spatula Award for the third marking period. This award is given to the class that has the best cafeteria behavior.
